Grand jury indicts three for sex crimes on minors

The Lawrence County grand jury handed down indictments against 27 this week.

On the list of those indicted are three men who were each charged with improper conduct with children.

David Barbour II, 25, 100 Front St., Proctorville, was indicted on two counts of gross sexual imposition involving two girls under the age of 12.

Tony J. Zeigler, 20, 1216-1/2 S. Fifth St., Ironton, was indicted on one count of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, a girl under the age of 14.

Eric F. Petersen, 41, 309 Elizabeth St., Pedro, was indicted on two counts of gross sexual imposition involving two girls under the age of 12.

According to information from the office of Lawrence County Prosecutor J.B. Collier Jr., others indicted were:

— Jeffrey S. Ingram, 25, 152 Private Drive 589, South Point, two counts of aggravated possession of drugs.

— Raymond A. Parks, 26, Detroit, Mich., one count each aggravated trafficking in drugs and aggravated possession of drugs.

— Jamie Brown, 30, 2004 S. Seventh St., Ironton, theft of drugs.

— Richard Cole, 37, 647 County Road 14, Pedro, open burning/open dumping, and his alleged cohort,

— Bryan K. Anderson, 27, Ashland, Ky., open burning/open dumping.

— Danny Joe Martin, 53, 56 Township Road 1101, South Point, DUI.

— Jeremy S. Duncan, 31, 7706 State Route 343, South Point, endangering children.

— Carlos Dickey, 36, Huntington, W.Va., possession of heroin, possession of criminal tools.

— Jessie Wylie, 23, Worthington, Ky., aggravated possession of drugs and possession drugs, both felonies, and misdemeanor counts of possession of drugs and theft.

— James Early, 57, 21602, State Route 243, Proctorville, theft.

— Jamieann D. Jackson, 19, 217 Township Road 219, South Point, burglary.

— Thomas E. Johnson, 35, 503 Third St. E., South Point, one count each of burglary and receiving stolen property.

— James E. Brooks, 2316 Geswein St., Ironton, two counts each of trafficking in drugs and aggravated trafficking in drugs.

— Jana Turley, 26, 303-1/2 Depot St., Coal Grove, two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs and one count of trafficking in drugs.

— Dean A. Montroso, 37, 1453 County Road 1, South Point, two counts of forgery and one count each of burglary and theft.

— John E. Mathieson, 41, Ashland, Ky., burglary.

— Shawn L. Crabtree, 33, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., failure to comply with the order and signal of a police officer.

— Michael D. Arbaugh, 18, 816 Township Road 102, Ironton, aggravated burglary with a firearm specification, a felony and aggravated menacing, a misdemeanor.

— Beth Rist, 46, Ironton, tampering with evidence.

Additionally, there were five secret indictments for criminal non-support. The grand jury met Monday and Tuesday.
