Wanda Jean Dilley, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, broke her earthly bounds on Nov. 20, 2008, for a better place.
Born on Aug. 9, 1924, to Stanley S. and Margaret E. (Kizzee) Bennett of Aid, she is now reunited with her husband of 57 years, Meredith L. Dilley, who preceded her in death in 2002.
Together they raised the following five sons and a daughter, Jerry L. (Bonnie) of Riverdale, Utah, Gregory L. (Sarah), Timothy R. (Elizabeth) and Jeffery L. (Debra) all of Galloway, Mark A. (Lizabeth) of Yellow Springs, and Annette K. of Galloway.
Mom loved to see her 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. For mom, family was everything and she enjoyed traveling to see them all and having get-togethers so she could bake goodies for them. Mom will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral will be 10 a.m. Monday at Schoedinger Hilltop Funeral Home, 3030 W. Broad St., Columbus. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. To send condolences to the family visit www.schoedinger.com.
