George Russell Black, 63, of Olive Hill, died Monday, Dec. 8, 2008, at King’s Daughters Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 19, 1945, the son of the late Ada Black and Ed Black. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Junior Black and Hershel Black and two sisters, Thelma Engel and Georgia Black.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Black, of Ironton; his ex-wife, Emily Black of Morehead, Ky.; his children, Randall and Amy Black of Morehead, Caleb Cade, of Ironton, Ohio, Lahamma and Tony McKnight of Coal Grove, Kenny and Angie Cade, of Symmes Valley, Jackie Payne, of Ironton, Loretta Cade and Duane Nicely of South Point, Eva and Brad Sexton of Kitts Hill, Dale Cade and Monica Delawder of Ironton, Melvin Cade and Rosie Gunther of Ironton, Thelma Cade of Ironton; an ex-daughter-in-law, Lissie Cade, of Ironton; 22 grandchildren; one great grandchild; five sisters, Maxine Harris, of Tennesee, Regina Wallace, of Clearfield, Ky., Janice Maynard, of Mansfield, Ohio, and Leola Fields and Ruby Black of Indiana; and three brothers, Charles Black of West Liberty, Ky., Harold Black of Mt. Sterling, Ky., and Oral Black of Indiana.
Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday Lane Stucky Gray Funeral Home in Morehead.
