WATERLOO — Charlotte Hensley Cole, 88, of Waterloo, passed away Saturday, Dec. 13, 2008, at Holzer Senior Care Center in Bidwell. The Prichard, W.Va. native was born Dec. 9, 1920, the daughter of the late Paul E. and Elizabeth Morrow Hensley.
She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clifford E. Cole; two sons, Bernard Dale Cole and Paul E. Cole; three daughters, Dottie Nelson, Bertha Cole and Linda Cole; two sisters, Thelma Hensley Dalton and Lois Marie Hensley Lawson; and two grandsons, Glen L. Nelson and Clifton Nelson.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Juanita and Wendell Hatfield of Waterloo, and Bessie and Arnold Jordan of Timpson, Texas; a sister, Mary Ellen Kirtley of Milton, W. Va.; a brother, Paul James Hensley of Buckeye Lake; three grandsons, Ronald and Lisa Hatfield and Tony and Rena Hatfield, both of Waterloo, and Jonathan Jordan of Timpson; four granddaughters, Tammy Miller of Pedro, Charlene Shields and Leah Jordan, both of Timpson, and Juanita and Michael Thompson of Waterloo.
