MARYSVILLE — Brenda Hope McClure Lewis, 62, of Marysville, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2008, at Riverside Methodist Hospital.
She was born Aug. 31, 1946 in Huntington, W.Va., a daughter of the late Lyndell and Maxine Watson Lewis.
She was a graduate of South Point High School. She was a former medical transcriptionist for LabCorp (Roche Biomedical) and worked with Friendship Supported Living.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Beverlee Thompson and Kathy Miller; her former husband and special friend, Carl McClure.
She is survived by three daughters, Carla (Michael) Porchet and Jennifer (Brent) Schilling, both of Marysville and Christi (Mark) Straight, of Hilliard; a son, Jeffrey McClure and his fiancé, Cathy Cranford, of Marysville; six grandchildren and a brother-in-law, Roger Miller.
Funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Underwood Funeral Home in Marysville with the Rev. Cleo Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Central Ohio Lung Association and Central Ohio Diabetes Association.
