FREDERICK KLINE

Frederick John Kline, of Ironton, 79, died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008, at Jo-Lin Care Center.
He was born Nov. 2, 1929, the son of the late Fred and Gertrude McGowan Kline. He was the husband of Betty Lee Kline, who survives.
He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the St. Lawrence O’Toole Catholic Church. He was the owner and operator of Kline Electric of Ironton and in Ashland Ky.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Fred and Libby Kline of Stout, Dan and Kim Kline of Union, Ky., and Jerry Kline of Ironton and one daughter, Sheila and John Gagai of Ironton.
Surviving grandchildren include Amy Kline Stevenson , Rick and Danielle Kline, Logan Kline, Nick and Dennis Gagai and great-grandchild Payton McGlone.
He is also survived by one brother, James Kline of Ironton and one sister, Ann Freeman of Ironton.
He was preceded in death by one son, Johnny Kline; one sister, Rose Hacker, one brother, Paul Kline, and one granddaughter Jessica Kline McGlone.
A Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Lawrence Church with Father David Huffman officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. VFW Post 8850 will conduct military graveside rites.
