Tommy Joe Dalton, 69, of Ironton, died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009, at Ohio State Medical Center in Columbus. The Ironton native was born Oct. 23, 1939, the son of the late Frank and Jean Hamburg Dalton
He was a 1957 graduate of Ironton High School, a carpenter with Carter Lumber for 15 years, a member of the Ironton Moose and Eagles Lodges and of the Protestant faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Dalton; an infant son, Mark Dalton; and a great-granddaughter, Alexis Debelle.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Jeff McKnight of Ironton; a son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Lisa Dalton of Ironton; eight grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and to brothers, Frank Dalton Jr. and Mike Dalton, both of Ironton.
