In these tough economic times, it’s not unusual to see cutbacks.

The Symmes Valley Vikings performed their own cutbacks as they committed just nine turnovers in a 56-52 win over the Portsmouth Clay Panthers Tuesday in a Southern Ohio Conference game.

“The biggest difference for us is we cut down on turnovers and we didn’t put Clay at the foul line,” said Vikings’ coach Alvin Carpenter.
