Female Flyers feel effects of layoff

The St. Joseph Female Flyers need to do a better job of scheduling their vacations.

The heavy snow last week that kept students out of school also kept them from practicing, and St. Joseph head coach B.J. Hannon said it was noticeable in a 56-40 loss to the Sciotoville East Lady Tartans on Monday.

“We just turned the ball over too much and we missed 12 free throws. Our lack of practice all week had an effect on us,” said Hannon.
