Panthers rally past Skyhawks

Down, but far from out.
The Chesapeake Panthers used a big fourth quarter to erase a four-point deficit and rally past the Scott Skyhawks 65-57 Saturday night.
The Panthers trailed 16-12 at the end of the first quarter but closed to within 27-26 at the half.
The Skyhawks took a 44-40 lead after three quarters before Chesapeake outscored Scott 25-13 in the final quarter.
Chesapeake (12-3) was led by Kyle Webb with a game-high 24 points. Peter Hintz had a career-high 15 points and Nathan Copley added 12.
Steven McComas scored 18 and Carl Shaffer 14 to lead Scott (7-9).
