Oh so close.

The Rock Hill Redmen had a strong finish and a good effort, but their upset bid fell short as they lost 58-54 to the Fairland Lady Dragons on Thursday in an Ohio Valley Conference game.

“Chelsea (Harper) gave us a spark and we had three players in double figures. We were right there with a chance to win. I think we started to understand what it takes. We played our guts out. You can’t ask for more than that,” said Rock Hill coach Matt Fulks.

“We picked it up in the fourth quarter and forced some turnovers and had a chance to,” said Fulks.
