Man waives preliminary in pornography case

IRONTON — The case of a Kitts Hill man accused in connection with a kiddie porn case waived his right to a preliminary
Hearing Thursday in Ironton Municipal Court.
James Terry, 22, of 2530 County Road 5, agreed to have the case against him bound over to a Lawrence County grand jury.
Terry was arrested last week by Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies and was charged with pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor. Authorities said he has confessed to downloading child pornography on his laptop by using Ohio University Southern’s Internet services. A former student, he was using the university’s Internet without permission.
Terry remains in the Lawrence County Jail.
