The Coal Grove Hornets had to move quickly.

After Kyle Winkler hit a 3-pointer with five seconds left to tie the game, the Hornets quickly got the ball in bounds and began a series of passes.

One pass led to another until Dane Haukendahl’s basket at the buzzer lifted the Hornets over the South Point Pointers 47-45 on Tuesday in an Ohio Valley Conference game.
