Bailouts should never have even started

I agree totally with the recent article in “Our View” about the bailouts. They should have never started. Those banks that made the loans that people could afford, they are still sound. Those who didn’t should have been allowed to fail for their foolishness in making loans that they knew the persons couldn’t pay when the interest went up.

Also, when we started the bailouts everyone who isn’t doing well decided to hold their hand out. It must stop.

As for Mr. Tom Purcell’s recent article, he too is 100 percent right when he states just one of the “perks” that was inserted into the “stimulus bill”, the one that was inserted by good liberal Democrats that Mr. Daschle wanted, which will allow the Federal Government to watch who is needing treatment or surgery and say whether we can have it or not.

This simply means that if you are old or unproductive and you need an expensive surgery, it will be up to the federal government to decide if you can have it. If you are old — not working or unproductive — you will not receive the treatment, just curl up and die. You have just passed your time.

This is just the start of the “change” that you voted for and this is just the start of it.
