VADALIA — Mary Marcia Morgan Hock, 85, of Vandalia, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2009, at Hospice of Dayton.
She was born Nov. 10, 1923, in Ironton to the late Francis and Norma Kinney. Marcia was a member of the Dayton Catholic Women’s Club, Vandalia Lioness Club and Vandalia Women’s 9-hole golf league.
She was preceded in death by first husband, Paul Morgan; and husband, Bob Hock; a son, Chris Morgan; a brother, Rev. Francis L. Kinney C.PP.S. and a sister, Henrietta Hanifin.
She is survived by two sons, Jay (Lynn) Morgan of Kettering and Steve (Dodi) Morgan of Bellbrook; five step-children, Marianne (John) McFall, Maria Hock, Robert (Krista) Hock, Fred Hock and Marietta (Chris) Hickey; Dominican Sister Jean Kinney, OP; 16 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Christopher’s Catholic Church by Father Frank Keferl. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home & Crematory, 5555 Philadelphia Dr. at N. Main St. in Dayton.
