DAYTON — The University of Dayton estimates that playing host to the NCAA basketball tournament will pump $5 million into the Dayton-area economy.

Some fans will come to southwest Ohio for Tuesday night’s opening game between Alabama State and Morehead State, then the big flock comes for the four first-round games Friday. Among teams in those games are top-seeded Louisville the eighth-seeded Ohio State Buckeyes.

Winners will play Sunday at the UD Arena.
