Betty P. Clyse, 91, of Ironton, died at home on Thursday, April 2, 2009. She was the widow of Robert P. Clyse. She was born July 19, 1917, in Dayton, the daughter of the late Samuel and Alma Gallagher Parnell.
She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church, a graduate of St. Joseph High School and homemaker.
Survivors include five daughters and sons-in-law Mary Jane and Jeff Handley of Hillard, Barbara and Scott Ensor of Ironton, Susan and Joe Rudinsky of Bethel Park, Penn., Sally and Bob Kopp of South Hamilton, Mass. and Sandy and Dave Jackson of Granville; one son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Sissy Clyse of Russell, Ky.; grandchildren include Mark Handley, Sean and Wan Handley, Todd Handley, Jeremy Dodgion and Cheryl Munson, Jason and Stacy Dodgion, Justin Ensor, Jacob and Lori Ensor, Jessica Ensor, Josha Rudinsky, Megan Rudinsky, Adam Rudinsky, David Rudinsky, Ben Kopp, Emily Kopp, Rob Jackson ,Scott Jackson, Sarah Jackson,Tyler Clyse, Austin Clyse, Crosby Clyse and Sunni Clyse; and great grandchildren include Chloe Dodgion, Reese Dodgion, Noah Dodgion, Ava Dodgion and Michael Handley.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Lawrence Church with the Rev. David Huffman officiating. There will be no visitation. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.
