CHESHIRE — It was good to be back at work.

After an 8-day layoff, the Rock Hill Redwomen went back to work and beat the River Valley Lady Raiders 13-3 Wednesday in an Ohio Valley Conference game.

“We did well. We hit the ball well and we fielded well,” said Rock Hill coach Mary Harper. “We’re young and we’re learning. We needed to get back out there and play.”
