PEDRO — Edna L. Cart, 73, of Pedro, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2009, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky.
She was born June 10, 1935 in Lawrence County, a daughter of the late Albert Gullett and Katie Keaton Gullett.
She was of the Pentecostal faith and attended the House of Prayer Church in Pedro.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, C.S. “Pete” Cart, a brother, David Gullett, and a sister, Gertrude Bowling.
She is survived by a brother, Donald Gullett, of Pedro and several nieces and nephews.
In keeping with her final wishes, she was cremated. Graveside funeral services where Edna was laid to rest next to her husband were conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Lawrence Furnace Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry David Bowling officiating.
