SOUTH POINT — Mary S. Craft, 68, of South Point, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky.
She was born July 24, 1940, in Logan, W.Va., a daughter of the late A.D. and Emma Lawrence May. She was a former employee of Coyne Textile.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by five brothers, Curtis May, Joe May, James May, Jimmy May and Johnny May; three sisters, Pauline Stowers, Eunice Barker and Elsie Tackett and two infant grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Dennis F. Craft; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Dennis G. Craft and Patrick L and Kelly Craft; two daughters and a son-in-law, Sandra K. and Greg Riggs and Mary Sabrina Craft; a special ex-daughter-in-law, Becky Craft Perry; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Thomas May; five sisters, Ethel Stowers, Opal Moore, Connie Roberts, Shirley Miller and Myrtle Miller; several nieces and nephews and special friends Clyde and Ruby Conley and Ron and Chelon Mootz.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel in Huntington, W.Va., with Pastor Mike Dement. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. Friends may call 6- 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
