IRONTON — Georgianna Bragg, 91, of Ironton, died Friday, April 10, 2009, at the Bryant Health Center. She was born Jan. 12, 1918, in Ironton, a daughter of the James R. and Anna Breeding Martin.
She was a retired clerk with the Lawrence County Health Department, a member of the First Baptist Church of Ironton, a 1936 graduate of Ironton High School and a member of Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 437.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Houston H. Bragg, whom she married in March 24, 1974; a stepson, H.H. Bragg Jr.; and a son, William M. Bragg.
Surviving are several grandchildren; and great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point with the Rev. Dennis Strawn officiating. There will be no visitation. Tracy Brammer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
