IRONTON — City National Bank customers will soon have a new location to bank at in a matter of weeks.

The Charleston, W.Va. based financial institution will open its new branch at South Fifth Street and Park Avenue early next month.

The new location will be directly across the street from the bank’s current remote drive-through Park Avenue branch.

“This new branch further solidifies City National as the Tri-State’s most convenient bank,” Carl Bowen, City National Bank executive vice president and regional manager said. “We have more branches in the Ashland-Huntington and Lawrence County, Ohio metropolitan statistical area than any other bank.”

The new 2,200-square-foot branch will provide additional access and on-site parking for customers. The paving of the parking lot for the new bank was completed last week.

“This is a first-class facility, and we have a great team to serve the Ironton market,” said Christina Kidd, who will serve as branch manager of the new location.

In addition to its 69 branch locations across West Virginia, Eastern Kentucky and Southern Ohio, the City National also operates City Insurance Professionals, an insurance agency offering a range of insurance products and services.
