ELSIE FRAZIER

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — Elsie Jane Flora Frazier, 92, of Grand Junction, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2009, in Grand Junction.
She was born Sept. 27, 1916, in Burlington, Ohio, to Joseph Albert and Manitha Jenkins Flora.
She is survived by son, Roger (Mary Moss) of Palisade, Colo.; and daughter, Donna (Bill) Witt of Tucson, Ariz.; three grandchildren, Kelley Kamba (Ken), Steven Witt (Allison), Thomas Frazier; and four great-granddaughters, Kortney, Katie, Kylie, Emmeline; one great-grandson, Liam; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer V. Frazier; and granddaughter, Rebecca Witt.
She graduated from Marshall College, Huntington, W. VA, earned a masters degree from Ohio State University, and worked as a Medical Technologist and Clinical Pathologist. Prior to moving to Grand Junction, Elsie resided in Sequim, Wash., and Joliet, Ill.
In recognition of her love of books, donations to the local library are requested in lieu of flowers. The family wishes to thank Mantey Heights Rehabilitation and Care Center and Hospice for their excellent care. At her request, no service will be conducted at this time.
