ARGILLITE, Ky. — Roger Lee Fraley, 50, of Culp Creek Road, Argillite, died Thursday, April 23, 2009, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky. Mr. Fraley was born Aug. 22, 1958, in Ironton, a son of the late James Benny and Juanita Lewis Fraley. He was a former truck driver and dispatcher for Halzit in Catlettsburg, Ky., a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Greenup VFW, American Legion in Flatwoods Post and Ashland Eagles.
He is survived by his wife, Kyle Gullett Fraley; two sons, Daniel Lee (Shana) Fraley of Coal Grove and Andrew Travis Fraley of Chesapeake; a stepson, Michael Devin (Melanie) Abdon of Flatwoods; two stepdaughters, Jody Leigh Abdon of Morehead, Ky. and Amanda Dawn Abdon of Lexington, Ky.; five brothers, Mike Fraley, Steve Fraley, Bobby Fraley and Bert Fraley, all of Coal Grove, and Alan Fraley of Ashland; and two sisters, Judy Fraley and Suzie Patrick, both of Coal Grove.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup. Burial will be in Gullett-Greene Cemetery, Greenup. There will be military graveside rites. Friends may call from noon until service time today at the funeral home.
