“If they love to learn, or they love history, we’d love to have them for docents,” Brown said.

The docents will be trained to conduct tours of the museum and may be involved in other historical society activities, such as the annual ghost walk at Woodland Cemetery and the museum’s Christmas tea.

Docents must be historical society members and must donate one afternoon each month. The museum is open 1-4 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from April-December.

A light lunch will be served after the meeting. Those interested may call the museum at 532-1222.
