Anessa Jane Shavers, 33, of Ironton, died Thursday, May 21, 2009, at her home. She was born March 23, 1976, in Lawrence County, a daughter of Jerry Dale Hankins and Henrietta Fitts Hankins, both of Ironton.
She was a nurse. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing and attended Ohio University.
Also surviving are her husband, Vanis Colin Shavers; two daughters, Hannah Rose Shavers and Aubry Jane Shavers, both of Ironton; and a brother, Shawn Hankins of Ironton.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Woodland Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Williams officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Tracy Brammer Funeral Home.
