Drifters to perform in Huntington

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. —Huntington’s summer concert series officially kicks off June 2 with CELEBRATE HUNTINGTON in front of the Keith Albee Theater. 93.7 The Dawg welcomes The Original Drifters in concert under the Keith’s marquee for two free shows.

Kindred Communications’ promotion director, Angie Fletcher said, “We’re actively involved with Huntington’s music scene. We see the Keith Albee as the cornerstone of the community. It’s the perfect place for a street party.”

Fourth Avenue will be closed on Tuesday beginning at 5 p.m. Those attending the concert are invited to bring lawn chairs and enjoy the music. Fletcher added that additional concerts will be announced in the next few days.

Food vendors and a ‘cruise in’ will be part of the festivities.
