IronMasters show set for June 19, 20

IRONTON — The 11th Annual Lawrence County “IronMasters” Antique Engines, Tractor, and Farm Equipment show will be held June 19-20 at the Ironton Hills Plaza. Bring your antique vehicles and enjoy the company of other collectors in the area. Trophies will be given by weight classes. The all day long event is free to the public.

IRONTON — Ironton in Bloom is hosting a spaghetti dinner fund raiser, Wednesday, June 10 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus, 2101 S. 3rd street in Ironton. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children. Eat in and carry out only. There will be no deliveries.

Your hosts will be serving spaghetti with marinara or meat sauce, coleslaw, rolls and a soft drink (carry outs do not include soft drinks). To preorder your lunch or dinner, please email quantities and pick-up time to: irontoninbloom@zoomionternet.net no later than Friday, June 5.

The funds raised will help Ironton in Bloom support beautification efforts throughout the city.

Appalachian Uprising June 5-7

SCOTTOWN — Get set for an Appalachian Uprising, June 5 through June 7 at Eden Valley Farm in Scottown.

The Bluegrass Festival is a place to celebrate life and music. This year’s performances include Sam Bush, The Avett Brothers, the Grascals, Bobby Osborne and Rocky Top X-Press, Larry Keel and Natural Bridge, Steep Canyon Rangers, Melvin Goins and Windy Mountain, Dana Romanello, One Way Rider, Jessical Lea Mayfield, ETA and many more. You may preorder $90 three day tickets or purchase tickets at the gate for $100. One day tickets are $35.
