Students who have completed an admissions application and received a letter of acceptance to attend Ohio University Southern in Ironton or Proctorville this fall are required to attend an orientation at the Ironton campus located at 1804 Liberty Ave., Ironton, Ohio.

2009 Orientation Schedule

June 24 — 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

July 7 — 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

July 23 — 1:00 – 7:00 p.m.

August 7 — 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

August 28 — 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

During orientation, new students schedule classes with the help of advisers, take placement tests and meet future friends and classmates Advisors specifically for adults wanting to enroll at OUS will be also be available to ensure a smooth transition to college.

Although parents of high school seniors are not required to attend orientation, they are encouraged to participate.

Admissions applications for Summer and Fall Quarter are still being accepted at Ohio University Southern in Ironton and Proctorville. OUS reminds all high school seniors and adult students who have not completed an admissions application to do so now to ensure class placement.

Summer session begins June 22 and with Fall Quarter starting September 8, 2009.
