South Point couple arrested on drug trafficking charges

SOUTH POINT — A South Point couple was arrested Friday morning on charges related to drug trafficking.
Robert D. Fox, 30, and Letitia L. Fox, 28, were taken from their home on Jefferson Avenue by members of the Lawrence Drug and Major Crimes Task Force, Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office and the United States Marshall Service following a three-month investigation.
Approximately 514 grams of marijuana, 18 grams of cocaine, several digital scales, plastic bags and $3,900 was taken from the residence.
Robert Fox is being charged with trafficking in the drugs marijuana and cocaine, possession of the drugs marijuana and cocaine and possession of criminal tools.
Letitia Fox is being charged with possession of marijuana and permitting drug abuse.
The couple was taken to the Lawrence County Jail and will be arraigned in the Lawrence County Municipal Court in Chesapeake on Monday.
