SPRINGBORO — Evelyn Barnett, 96, of Springboro, died Thursday, June 18, 2009.
She was born March 23, 1913, a daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Elizabeth Ellen Eads Stewart.
She was retired from Dayton Malleable (Amcast) in 1973 following 25 years of service. She loved camping and shopping.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawson; four brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by two daughters, Helen (Garland) Berkhouse and Carole (Richard) “Sam” Bennett; nine grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; two step grandchildren and two step great grandchildren.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Anderson Funeral Home, 1357 E. Second St., Franklin, with the Rev. Vernon Risner officiating. Burial will follow in Springboro Cemetery. Visitation will be noon until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
