Ohio State inducts 12 into HOF

COLUMBUS (AP) — Football players Neal Colzie, Andy Katzenmoyer and Dick LeBeau and basketball star Michael Redd are among the 12 athletes and coaches to be inducted into the Ohio State Athletics Hall of Fame.

The class, announced Tuesday, will be inducted on Sept. 25 and introduced to the public at halftime of the home football game against Illinois the next day.

The list of inductees also includes: Robert Gary (cross country/track and field), Bob Hopper (swimming), Pandel Savic (football); Kaja Fiserova (rowing), Allison Hanna (golf), Vanessa Immordino (field hockey), Emma Laaksonen (ice hockey) and Jim Montrella (swimming coach).

Colzie (1972-74), Katzenmoyer (1996-98) and LeBeau (1956-58) all had successful NFL careers. Redd was a three-time Ohio State MVP and currently plays for the Milwaukee Bucks.
