PINE GROVE — The Ironton Country Club Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association of the Ironton Country Club met on Tuesday morning with Rose Auble serving as hostess.

Auble conducted a brief business meeting for the group that currently consists of 20 members.

Handicap and ringers tournaments continue to be in play. Following refreshments provided by Auble, she arranged the golf pairings and selected the golf events of the day.

After the golf playwas completed the winners were announced: Becky Dillow, Joyce Lewis, Kathy Fraley, Doris Roberts, Pat Riggs — who won two events — and Auble.

Next week, Johnna Jones will be the weekly hostess at the Pine Grove meeting room. New members continue to be welcomed at the 9:30 a.m. golf meeting and events.

PINE GROVE — The Ironton Country Club Ladies Nine Hole Golf Association met as usual in the clubhouse with hostess Cecilia Woods treating the group to a variety of breakfast foods.

Following the refreshments, Woods announced the pairings for the golf events. The regular 9:30 a.m. tee-off saw three different winners of the day’s nine-hole competition.

Woods presented prizes to the event winners Christina Ballard and Joyce Lewis with Betty Fraley claiming two events.
