Gross sexual imposition — Rome Township Wednesday, 14-year-old girl reportedly touched inappropriately, John E. Bradshaw Sr., 65, 3489 County Road 73, Crown City, arrested and taken to jail.

Burglary, safecracking — Rome Township Wednesday, residence entered, safe entered, $60,000 taken during several incidents over three-week period, Keturah Adkins, 26, 9622 County Road 107, Proctorville, arrested and taken to jail.

Assault — County Road 107, Proctorville Wednesday, two people in dispute over items reportedly taken from residence without permission, both assaulted, Virginia Fortner, 37, 8615 County Road 107, Proctorville, arrested and taken to jail, Jason Rice, 28, same address, cited to Lawrence County Municipal Court.

Disorderly conduct — Township Road 1502, Chesapeake Thursday, man reportedly in possession of knife, threatening himself and others, taken to area hospital.

Burglary — Township Road 1042, Chesapeake Thursday, two people reportedly taking items out of burned-out house without permission, Diana Tomasello, 40, Huntington, W.Va., arrested on charge of complicity to burglary and taken to jail, second suspect sought.

Aggravated menacing — Township Road 250, South Point Thursday, woman reportedly threatened, suspect named.

Theft of motor vehicle — Township Road 1197, Chesapeake Thursday, 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier taken, not returned, suspect named.

Loud disturbance — Etna Street Park Thursday, advised.

Fight — Fuzzy Duck, Center Street boat landing Thursday, those involved moved on.

Theft— 1000 block South Seventh Street Thursday, large concrete bird bath taken.

Theft— South Sixth and Pleasant streets Thursday, Ironton Tribune newspaper boxes taken.

Trouble — 1400 block South Second Street Thursday, 10-year-old boy reportedly assaulted, Raymond E. Wilson, 49, 1418 S. Sixth St., Ironton, arrested and taken to jail.

Trouble — Fifth and Hecla streets Thursday, man reportedly causing trouble, left, returned, left second time, located and advised.

— Thomas B. Butler, 44, Sissonville, W.Va., on charges of rape Thursday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.

— Kendra N. Griffitts, 26, 904 McGovney St., Ironton, on outstanding warrant Thursday by the Ironton Police Department.

— Amber Rawlins, 23, 2540 S. Fifth St., Ironton, receiving stolen property, theft Wednesday by the Ironton Police Department.

— Michael E. Castle, 30, 1523 County Road 1, South Point, on outstanding warrant Wednesday by the South Point Police Department.

— Richard L. Sharp, 46, 1014 1/2 N. Third St., Ironton, on outstanding warrant Wednesday by the Ironton Police Department.
