RAY MCKEE

SOUTH POINT — Ray K. Mckee, 71, of South Point, went to be with the Lord Sunday, Aug. 2, 2009, after a tragic fall two weeks prior at his home.
Ray was born Nov. 27, 1937, and was employed with Allied Chemical and Retired from South Point Ethanol Plant. A devout Christian, loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and loyal friend to many. A long- time member of Tri-State Baptist Temple, South Point. Ray’s last wishes were to see all of his family and friends in heaven with him someday!
A son of the late Ralph and Pinkie Brown McKee, he is survived by his wife of 46 years, Donna Litteral McKee; three loving children, LaRae (Jim) Smith of Canal Winchester, Elizabeth (Jerry Wahoff) Cates of Pickerington, Michael (Jana) McKee of Grove City; a wonderful granddaughter, Fotini (Reuben Roman) Chalkias of Pataskala, a special great grandson, Christian and another special family member, Chris Chalkias of Pataskala; brothers, (the late) Ralph McKee, Jim (Julia) McKee of Claremore, Okla.; sisters, Kati (Ron) Davidson, and Janet McKee both of South Point. A special “thanks” is extended to all of the staff at Cabell Huntington Hospital for all of their special care for Ray and his family.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Schneider- Griffin Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Friends may call 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
