Polly Pauline Kelley, 82, of Ironton, went to be with her Lord, Sunday, Aug. 9, 2009, from the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky.
The Pike County, Ky., native was born Nov. 25, 1926, the daughter of the late Burley and Cynthia Louise Burchett Taylor.
Mrs. Kelley was a graduate of Johns Creek High School in Pikeville, Ky., and a homemaker. She was a member of the Pine Grove Freewill Baptist Church, was born and raised in Pike County, Ky., but spent most of her adult life in Lawrence County.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband, James M. Bevins Jr.; her second husband, Ray E. Kelley; a brother, Perry Taylor and a
sister, Avanelle Maynard.
She is survived by her four daughters and sons-in-law, Carol Jones and Alex of Toronto, Kathy Cameron and Larry of Geneva, and Linda Faulkner and Curtis of Ironton, and Rebecca McGlone and Gene of Elizabethtown, Ky.; a son and daughter-in-law, Keith Allen Bevins and Kathy of Sugar Creek Ridge; 14 grandchildren, Julie, Tricia, Kathy, and James Jones; Duane Cameron, Michael and Todd Bevins; Aimee, Amber, and Amanda Cochran; Brad, Luke, Lyndsay, and Corey McGlone; 22 great grandchildren with the 23rd due in February 2010; a brother, Donny Preston Taylor and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Ice Creek Cemetery with Rev. Kenny Klaiber officiating. There will be no public visitation.
