COAL GROVE — Although the exit ramp to the southbound 12th Street (Ben Williamson) Ashland, Kentucky, Bridge will still be closed tonight, the extended, overnight closure has been truncated due to inclement weather.

As part of the U.S. Route 52 resurfacing project in Lawrence County, contractors for the Ohio Department of Transportation will close the exit ramp from U.S. 52 to the southbound 12th Street Bridge tonight, August 10, at approximately 7 p.m. to mill the structure. The closure is anticipated to be in effect approximately midnight or 1 a.m.

Then, weather permitting, crews from Shelly and Sands Incorporated will close the ramp again later in the week for paving operations; this closure will take place during the overnight hours of Thursday, August 13, through Friday, Aug.14, from 7 p.m. until approximately 6 a.m.
