HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — United Way of the River Cities will conduct an applicant workshop on Aug. 21 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the United Way office, 820 Madison Ave. Applications for 2010 funding will be due by 5 pm on Oct. 23.

Eligible applicants must be human service, non-profit organizations in good standing with federal and state law, and operate in at least one of the following counties — Cabell, Wayne, Lincoln, Mason in W.Va. and Lawrence in Ohio.

Agencies that are not currently funded partners may apply for United Way support but must do so collaboratively with a current United Way funded partner.
