CANNONSBURG, Ky. — The best way to describe the Ironton Lady Fighting Tigers volleyball opener was pass, set, kill.

Ironton began the season Tuesday with a three set win over the Body County Lady Lions, 25-17, 24-26 and 25-17.

“It was an ugly win, but it was nice to get the jitters out of the way and start playing,” said Ironton Lady Tigers’ coach Beth Campbell.
