CHESAPEAKE — It’s always nice to see something good, especially when you haven’t seen it for awhile.

Using a big comeback from a 12-point deficit in the second set, the Chesapeake Lady Panthers battled past the St. Joseph Female Flyers in three sets Monday, 25-16, 26-24 and 25-16.

“In the past five years, that’s the biggest comeback we’ve had. St. Joe gave an awesome effort and we stayed in there and battled,” said Chesapeake coach Dana Edwards. “I saw a lot of good things happen on the court tonight.”
