SOUTH POINT — The council of the village of South Point will meet in regular session at 7:30 p.m. today at the village hall. On the agenda are the following items to be considered:

Approving entering into purchase agreement with Leslie Equipment, Cross Lanes, W.Va., for 1999 John Deere Model 200LC TrackHoe Excavator with trade-in of our 1987 model 690C TrackHoe Excavator.

Amending appropriation ordinance for current expenses and other expenditures.

Accepting the amounts and rates as determined by the budget commission and authorizing the necessary tax levies and certifying them to the county auditor.

Authorizing participation in acquiring funds through State Issue 1 program and local transportation improvement program

Authorizing participating in acquiring funds through the ODOT Safe Routes to Schools program.
