Trouble — Fifth and Buckhorn streets Saturday, man reportedly screaming and cursing, Charles R. Pennington, 44, Ashland, Ky., charged with disorderly conduct by intoxicated annoyance and taken to jail.

Theft— 1000 block South Seventh Street Saturday, catalytic converter taken.

Trouble — 800 block Walnut Street Saturday, group of girl reportedly trying to start fight at residence, left, located, Vanessa Coventry, 21, Ashland, Ky., arrested on outstanding warrant and taken to jail.

Drag racing — Ironton Hills Shopping Center Saturday, large group of youth moved on.

Kids bothering customers — Peddler’s, South Third Street Saturday, juveniles reportedly bumming money, left prior to officer’s arrival.

Theft— Vicinity of Moose Lodge, Third Street Sunday, white two-door 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier taken.

Assault — 300 block North Second Street Sunday, man reportedly assaulted by group of men, taken to area hospital.

Trouble — 1400 block South First Street Sunday, group of males reportedly trying to start fight, one juvenile caught, parent notified.

Theft — 2100 block North Second Street Sunday, grill taken.

Vandalism — 1500 block South Second Street Sunday, vehicle damaged.
