An Ironton woman is being sought by police for questioning in an alleged incident that happened early Monday evening.

Ironton police want to question Karen Lewis after they were called to 415 Mulberry St., at 5 p.m. Monday. Police found Aaron L. Moore, 18, and Andrea Crawford, 34, both of Ironton, at that address.

They claimed they had been assaulted with a knife at 605 S. 10th St., Ironton Police Chief Jim Carey said.

The two were treated and released at an area hospital for head injuries.

Carey described the injuries as not serious.

Lewis has not been charged in the alleged incident and is only wanted for questioning. The event remains under investigation.
