Police were less than helpful in case of emergency

I am a parent of three and my question is this: Where are the local police departments when you need them?

My reason for asking is that Monday my two children had disappeared. We went to the sheriff’s department in Ironton.

They said it was out of their jurisdiction and sent us to the Ironton city police department. Their response was, “we can’t help.” Basically they said they only had two cops on duty.

What if my kids had been kidnapped or worse?

Well, all I have to say is if they would have been they would have died before they ever helped. I guess you have to be rich to get any help in Ohio or be close to officials and not poor. If you are poor in Ohio you are out of luck.
