Breakfast benefit to help Big Brothers Big Sisters

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — A pancake breakfast to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Tri-State will be held Saturday at Frankie D’s at Pullman Square from 8 to 10 a.m.

The cost is $5 per person for all you can eat. Miss WV USA, Jessi Pierson, will serve as the guest celebrity for the event and will sign autographs and pose for photographs.

Tickets may be purchased at the event or in advance from the local BBBS office.

Ms Pierson is a volunteer Big Sister with the program and hopes to encourage others to become interested in volunteering.

Proceeds from the breakfast will go towards the agency’s Endowment Fund.

Big Brothers Big Sisters is a mentoring program serving at-risk children needing friendship and guidance in both a School-Based Mentoring Program and a Community Based Program in the Huntington Ashland, and Ironton area.
