“We bounced back. We have to turn our focus on the sectional and hope we perform well. Hopefully this will give us some momentum,” said Ironton coach Jeff Kerns.

Ironton will play at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the sectional tournament at Shawnee.

The Fighting Tigers’ Josh Zornes fired a 34 and shared medalist honors with two other golfers.

Andy Holtzapfel and Josh Cooke each had solid rounds of 37 for Ironton while Josh Mullins carded a 41 and Mason Weisgarber and Jonathan Williams each shot a 42.
