County schools should look at closing for flu

I am wondering why the schools in Lawrence County have not reported the cases of this swine flu to the health department.

There have been confirmed cases in the Chesapeake schools and in South Point schools. This flu is killing people and the health department is not doing anything to close the schools to protect the kids.

In this morning’s paper there was a child that died in Huntington, W.Va., from this flu. I have nieces and nephews that go to a few of Lawrence County schools and their parents have kept them out of school for that reason.

Something needs to be done about this.
