CINCINNATI — Third baseman Chris Sabo and reliever Pedro Borbon will be among the latest additions to the Cincinnati Reds’ Hall of Fame.

Sabo was the choice in fan voting that was announced Tuesday. The former All-Star and NL Rookie of the Year was a fixture on the 1990 team that won the Reds’ last World Series.

Borbon was chosen by a committee, along with the late Tony Mullane, who was the Reds’ top pitcher from 1886 to 1892. Borbon was an important part of the Big Red Machine’s bullpen in the 1970s, appearing in more games than any other NL pitcher from 1970-78. The Reds won back-to-back World Series titles in 1975-76.

The three will be formally inducted next season.
