BEREA — Cleveland Browns linebacker D’Qwell Jackson did not practice because of a hamstring injury.

Jackson, who leads the Browns in tackles, was limited in Wednesday’s workout. He was kept out of Thursday’s practice session as Cleveland prepared for Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills. Jackson had 14 tackles last week against Cincinnati. He led the NFL last season with 188 stops.

Rookies David Veikune and Kaluka Maiava are listed as backups behind Jackson and Eric Barton. Neither of the first-year players has a tackle this season.
