The Late Model portion of the “Fall Classic” is the third highest paying race of the season for the Late Model class. All Late Model special event races have featured great fields and great racing with Wayne Chinn, Kenny Christy, and Eddie Carrier Jr. claiming the 2009 specials.

At $500 to win, the Mod Lite portion is the second highest paying race of 2009 for that class.

The Modified “Fall Classic” will be the highest paying Modified race in the history of RTR with a $2,000 to win and $125 to start purse.

Three $1,000 to win Modified specials have been held at RTR this season with Shawn Holliday, Todd Robinson, and Rick Hensley taking the feature wins. All of those races saw high car counts and incredible side by side racing.

Just like the Modifieds, the Bomber portion of the “Fall Classic” is the highest paying race in RTR history for that class.

“All of us at RTR are very excited about hosting the Fall Classic,” said RTR promoter T. J. Layne.

“It doesn’t get any better than having four special event races in one night. All of the drivers will get a chance to race for big money and the fans will get to see an incredible amount of racing. This race is definitely a win-win for both the drivers and fans.”

General admission to the “Fall Classic” is only $17 with kids (7-12) general admission $5 and kids six and under free. Pit Admission is $30.

Because of cool October temperatures, times have been pushed up as the gates will open at 2 p.m. with hot laps starting the night’s action at 5 p.m. For more information visit www.rockytopraceway.net
